Breakfast Lunch & Dinner (BL&D) is a community venture building studio. BL&D manages and is a part of several community projects and ventures, including Cafeteria Radio. Cafeteria Radio is a cooperative digital media and entertainment company owned and operated by creative entrepreneurs in the Greater Hartford Region. 

Business Developer

BL&D is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and entrepreneurial individual to lead business development efforts for our various projects and brands. The role will involve developing corporate partnerships, sponsorship, grant writing, developing advertising accounts, and supporting the implementation of various earned income strategies for our different event properties. The Business Developer will define long-term strategic goals, build key relationships, and identify business opportunities. The individual will also be responsible for developing innovative and impactful sales strategies and putting these strategies into action.

The Role

• Manage grants for projects, including tracking, writing, planning and reporting

• Prospecting and seeking corporate partners 

• Develop, execute, and manage sales efforts

• Monitor and evaluate competitive solutions

• Design strategies and lead partnerships that support our goals

Pay 

Compensation range is $17.50-$22.00/hour. We are seeking 20 hours a week up to full-time.
