Floor—Plan
Floor–Plan aims to develop a local, modern, and robust retail community in Hartford, Connecticut through supporting local small businesses.
This multifaceted project is a collective effort between various Hartford based community partners to transform the vitality of our city’s retail and small businesses. The partners include BL&D, reSET Social Enterprise Trust, Cafeteria Media, Semilla Cafe + Studio, and more.
The Retail Activation Initiative will include:
A technical assistance retail incubator program
A full-time retail store program
An e-commerce platform
A booking platform for market events, pop-ups + more
Large scale marketplace experiences such as Winterfair
Our program beneficiaries will be largely Hartford based, small, local business owners with an emphasis on Hartford based, minority owned business, as well as businesses owned by low to moderate income individuals.
We aim to reflect the diverse demographics of Hartford by supporting Black, and non-Black Hispanic business owners.
