Breakfast Lunch & Dinner (BL&D) is a community venture building studio. BL&D manages and is a part of several community projects and ventures, including Cafeteria Radio. Cafeteria Radio is a cooperative digital media and entertainment company owned and operated by creative entrepreneurs in the Greater Hartford Region. 

Visual Designer

BL&D is seeking a communications professional who is responsible for designing and maintaining the visual aspects of our company’s brand and projects across each of the platforms. The ideal candidate will have keen attention to detail and organization, including the ability to prioritize tasks, communicate progress and meet deadlines.

The role

• Develop, oversee, and execute company and project visual representation

• Work within brand guidelines to create layouts that reinforce our style and voice through its visual touchpoints

• Create, organize, resize and reconfigure production assets for team-wide usage

• Work collaboratively with marketing team to produce graphic assets and deliverable content

• Work on email marketing items, presentation materials, and interactive event materials

• Design user-centered interactive models, wireframes or screen mockups

• Design logos, icons, and infographics

• Navigate multiple projects while effectively managing timelines and expectations

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite

• Experience with motion graphics is a plus

Pay

Compensation range is $17.50-$22.00/hour. We are seeking 20 hours a week up to full-time.
